At Vertex SEO, we are committed to delivering premium-quality SEO services and building long-term partnerships with our clients. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the process for requesting one.

1. General Refund Policy

Due to the nature of SEO services — which involve significant time, resources, and expertise from the moment a project begins — refunds are not provided for services already rendered. This includes but is not limited to: audits completed, optimisations applied, reports delivered, and link building activities performed.

All sales are considered final once work on your campaign has commenced.

2. Eligibility for a Refund

A full or partial refund may be considered in the following circumstances:

• Service not started: If you cancel your order in writing before any work has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid.
• Prepaid unused period: If you cancel a monthly retainer with the required 30 days notice, any prepaid fees covering the period after the cancellation effective date will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
• Duplicate payment: If you are charged twice for the same service due to a billing error, the duplicate payment will be refunded in full within 7 business days.
• Service non-delivery: If Vertex SEO is unable to deliver the agreed scope of services through no fault of the client, a proportional refund will be issued for the undelivered portion.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are explicitly non-refundable:

• SEO audits and strategy reports once delivered
• On-page optimisation work once applied to your website
• Link building and outreach services once initiated
• Content creation once delivered and approved
• Monthly retainer fees for the current billing period once work has begun
• Setup fees and onboarding costs
• Any third-party costs incurred on your behalf (e.g., tools, licences, paid placements)

4. No Guarantee of Results

Search engine rankings are influenced by many factors outside our control, including Google algorithm updates, competitor activity, and your website's history. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of rankings not improving or traffic expectations not being met, as these outcomes cannot be guaranteed by any SEO agency.

We guarantee the quality and volume of work delivered as outlined in your Service Agreement — not specific ranking positions or traffic levels.

5. Cancellation Process

To cancel your service and be considered for any applicable refund:

• Submit a written cancellation notice via email to contact@vertexseo.store or via WhatsApp.
• Include your name, business name, and the service(s) you wish to cancel.
• A minimum of 30 days written notice is required for monthly retainer cancellations.
• Work completed up to the cancellation effective date will be billed at the agreed rate.

6. How to Request a Refund

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider but are typically completed within 7–14 business days of approval.

8. Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with our services or believe a billing error has occurred, we encourage you to contact us directly before initiating any chargeback or dispute with your bank. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in suspension of services and possible legal action to recover outstanding amounts.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
